I am following some amazing "small" accounts.
The key distinction between large and small CX accounts?
🟢Value creation
🟢Alpha
🟢Opportunities
Look at accounts in the 1k-10k (and often smaller) follower range they’re in the trenches, hustling daily, analysing tickers, posting well thought out thematics or deep dives, and offering real time macro insights.
These are the accounts driving fresh perspectives, staying nimble, and adapting to the evolving market landscape.
Contrast this with larger accounts, which often fall victim to a natural complacency, much like rock bands in their later albums.
Having built substantial followings, they no longer need to work as hard.
With bigger $$$ and established networks, particularly on the supply side, they can afford to lean back.
These large accounts tend to veer towards low effort content "comedic posts", anecdotal musings and dime-store philosophy all while farming engagement.
Many have lost their edge.
If you’re serious about staying ahead of the curve, surround yourself with smaller, more dynamic accounts.
They are where the true pulse of the market lives.
