I repeat: it's rude to greet someone coming to dinner with instructions on how to enjoy it. If someone has a child and everything goes fine, then the note was completely inappropriate. If someone has a child and everything doesn't go fine, then the note didn't stop a goddamn thing. The note is just wrong.

@SpillTheMemes I don't kill spiders. If it's one of an acceptable size, I let it be. If it's a spider of an unacceptable size I catch it in glass and take it out between two neighbors houses.
