Days like today, the house has just felt so empty. I kept Teddy's bed in my office this tax season even though he's been gone a few months, but I decided today was when I was ready to let it go. Will forever keep his scarf, though. He was the best Chief Opawrating Officer ever.

@TheNFTCPA Actually I discovered it while using Claude to automate calculations from 1099s. During that process, a dialog with Claude confirmed that it was not possible to calculate foreign qualified dividends for Schwab funds on Schwab 1099s.

Today's episode of AI taking over Tax. Client: Your draft says 9k refund, AI told me 111K refund. You did something wrong. Me: Oh boy. send me what you are seeing. Me: This is wrong, just wrong. You don't qualify for any of the tax credits, you don't have 3 kids... #TaxTwitter

When I was in high school I was painfully shy, good student, only really one friend. A cute guy I liked with a jacket like this (not as cool, but you get the idea) sat behind me in Spanish. One day out of nowhere he lifted my shirt at the small of my back and wrote his name in black sharpie at where the top of my jeans met my skin. I sat with my heart pounding and I’m sure blushing to my feet and trying not to move. It was awesome for my little shy self 🖤
