Big story: No person who professes a religion other than Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism shall be a member of Scheduled caste. Conversion to any other religion results in loss of Scheduled caste status : Supreme Court. Basically, Dalit Christians can’t take advantage of SC protection. Qs is: does religion change end caste discrimination? Courts may need a reality check!

Initially, YouTube said there was no violation of its Community Guidelines in Dhruv Rathee’s video.
But yesterday, I received this email from the YouTube Legal Team stating that they have received my complaint, sent it for review, and will get back as soon as possible.
I have also supplied the additional information they asked for (though it was already mentioned in my original complaint).
As per the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, I will now wait for the prescribed 15 days. If no proper resolution comes, I will file a formal appeal before the Grievance Appellate Committee.
This is the due process for accountability.

As per the usual pattern, YouTube has once again determined that there is no violation of its Community Guidelines in the content uploaded by Dhruv Rathee. In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, I will now proceed to file an appeal before the Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) as the appropriate next step. This ensures full compliance with the prescribed grievance redressal mechanism while pursuing accountability for content that many find objectionable, particularly concerning insults to revered Deities and Sanatan Dharma.
