Definitely not the ghost of Winston Churchill demonically possessing the Washington Monument. I was going to use Gandhi's pic, but it turns out he was a racist.

@TheRightColumn @heroesahead If he could move that fast he wouldnt have held up his hand. Its clear he stops him because he knows he will be found out, and taken away, like is mentioned.

I'll fix this scene You don't have Henry Cavill in this scene. You have a teenager, a little older than the kid from the earlier scenes Having Henry Cavill here shows me a superman I know can move faster than the eye can see, save him in some believable way and no one be the wiser A younger Clark, who in a line of dialogue laments that he didn't have control of his powers yet enough to know how to control them and feels guilt over not saving his dad could have worked But even then it's still just a worse version of Superman 78 where Clark learns the most important lesson of his life, that even with all his powers, there are some things a man who can move planets can't do. That even he has limits, and it makes it all the more important that he use his powers to save people who can be saved because that's where he can make a difference. If he saves someone today, they get fifty more years to be with their families, when the day comes that he's powerless to save them. In that iteration of the character, this is his defining moment.

A real DC fan wouldn’t pretend like garbage like letting Jonathan Kent die or the shitty grey color grading is good when it isn’t. A real DC fan is gonna act like emo depressed. Superman is accurate when it isn’t. A real DC fan wants Superman and trunks. One Superman would be happy and kind of corny. He’s literally from Kansas. A real Superman fan doesn’t want dark grayscale color grading for Superman.

So much Taylor Swift hate over this wedding. It’s funny because I haven’t come across a single post hating on Travis.

@DiscussingFilm I will never understand why audiences want every single villain in a movie to have a backstory or be nuanced. I don't need a backstory for Space Epstein; I just need to know he's Space Epstein.

2 cuts of ‘SUPERGIRL’ were screened to test audiences — one from Craig Gillespie & one from DC Studios. Gillespie’s version was 11 minutes longer and featured more of the villain, Krem. The cut from DC Studios was the one chosen for release. (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-f…)

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk It's all good that you Gunn fans can't accept the messaging in the movie about fatherly sacrifice for their child. Finding your purpose and where you come from. Determining if humanity deserves Superman. It's a little more deep than sex harems, crappy jokes and needle drops.

Alcott was only cast because Gunn and others involved in selecting her thought she was above the level of attractiveness needed for the role. If she had been fat or more buck-toothed, they would have rejected her. If they had cast someone like that, you'd fully understand it bombing. A lot of that discourse is gross, but don't pretend looks are irrelevant to the film's success.

"Supergirl is bombing because I, personally, don't want to bang Milly Alcock," is not the incisive, critical, hot take you think it is.

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk You just see what you want to see when people literally write it out don't you? Notice how he saved people when he could and nobody could still confirm he was a real thing? Can't really run from Smallville once your secret is out & everyone knows Clark is an alien.

@Triplekiller51 @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk So you agree him revealing his powers to save his classmates was right. Lol - you gave up pretty easy. It's OK. If it makes you feel better, all you're finally doing is getting Snyder's message.

@BlackMajikMan90 Not true at all. Even the positive reviews and word of mouth pretty much all say it's meh. If the consensus was that it was great, it would be a hit.

Supergirl not being number 1 in any market has nothing to do about the reception of the film or the weird, sexist discourse. No, it’s deeper than that. It’s proof that viewership habits are changing. Every comic book movie going forward (whether it’s Marvel or DC) has to be an event or starring a well known character with crossovers. Audiences are done with simple comic book movie blockbusters starring unpopular characters.

@GooberBoober42 @PeachyEXP I hate to be the one to tell you that "pretty alright" is not going to get people to spend money in the theaters. Misogyny has nothing to do with it. Your own review tells me to stay home.

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Riiight because because the announcement of aliens didn't have the government and the news going crazy smh. Johnathan was right. The scene might not have been what you would do but it's what a farmer from who cared more about his son than the world would do. Clark was his world

You're a dunce. The entire message of MoS was that Jonathan was wrong. Clark was right to save his classmates. He was right to save the oil riggers. He was right to save Lois from the security on the Kryptonian ship. He was right to fight the kryptonians in Smallville. All of those things revealed his powers to the world and some exposed his identity, but Snyder is clear that is better than letting people die. Johnathan died for nothing.

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk It's ok little bitch. It didnt take you long to start calling people names. Typical Gunn cuck. You can't understand the basic concept of fatherhood and sacrifice for your loved ones. You just want the corniest repeated Uncle Ben story trope over and over again.

@dabuddha99 @KishanNavadiya4 Remember when "Superman" de-powered General Zod, crushed his bones to dust, and threw him into an ice crevice to die? Remember when "Superman" killed his own clone, confused and controlled by an evil scientist, by throwing him into a black hole?

It still amazes me that Henry Cavill's Superman was supposed to resist Darkseid's control through the Anti Life Equation in Justice League Part 3 after Batman finally saved Lois Lane by reversing time in Part 2. That moment would've ended the "most powerful Superman" debate once and for all🤷💯 #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

They are both already in the path of the tornado, you nitwit. Literally standing next to each other. Just say you didn't watch it. The question is who should immediately go with the other people to the overpass, and who should get the dog. Neither act is supposed to result in death. Only Johnathan dies though, because he gets stuck and doesn't have the strength to free himself. If he had gone ahead and Clark gotten the dog , both would have been fine. Sending the old man along while letting the invulnerable being deal with the riskier situation is common sense - something the movie lacked.

@TheRightColumn @JackCarr713062 @Fictiontokk Dont get unhinged. Doesnt matter if he's invulnerable. The point is to keep his secret safe. By doing so he sacraficed himself to do just that. Its not about what Clark can do its about what he should do. He should listen to his father and reveal himself when hes needed most.

@JoeMish3 @FlamedLizard26 @VandalMonkey He’s not killing anyone in those comics dumbass. And he only kills if it’s 100% unavoidable and necessary. He killed people pointlesly in BvS and tried to kill Superman for LITERALLY NO REASON

BvS is about a Year Two Superman learning to accept and deal with the unintended consequences of his actions. Doomsday is the consequence of killing Zod. It's his responsibility. Superman would NEVER ask someone to take the hit for him. You don't know shit about Superman
