It’s very frustrating, and there’s no point pretending it’s anything other than embarrassing and disappointing, as there are plenty of important questions to be asked. Totally understand the fact he will need to step up in terms of levels, but this isn’t a Liam Nash type situation. Marcus would’ve been operating just two divisions below us this season without the move. Key attributes I noticed are his pace, a consistently good first touch, an ability to find the target with both feet, an almost sixth sense in the area & the different types of goals (aside from headers?) he scores. Perhaps most importantly though, in & around the box everything looks so natural & almost easy, there’s a real composure him. Not sure you can teach that, exciting. #Gills #GFC 💙
