@farmersgrowit @HoolyMcg I did demo one a long time ago when they first come out, from what I remember reel all way back in ,reel pitch least aggressive
English

@TimArthur18 @HoolyMcg Only just bought it. Like the extendable floor and ability to give even flow to feeder house , thought can be tricky using the reel (too low and creates lumps; too high crop falls forward). Don’t like the vibration it causes as both knives come into sync and out again. Shakes cab

#agtwitter Looking for spare auger for cr New holland (8. 9. or 10. models) . a bit straighter than this one! …… chaser bin and header went jousting!😬.

English

@farmersgrowit @HoolyMcg Do you like the varied @farmersgrowit ? What capacity can you get out of it?
English

@HoolyMcg He’s a good operator ; ……..just had a blonde moment. …….Felt like I was tackled from behind.

@ZwarFarms @AndrewThomfarms Agree, it’s probably what annoys me the most about running mill, wears you down mentally after a while, terrible late in arvo early night
English

@TimArthur18 @AndrewThomfarms 5 years with our terminator & just upgraded to a new 2025 model one. The only thing I dislike is the dust, it's restricting our work rate significantly the last few days

English

@Matt_EADennis Yeah mate but definitely worse in lentils, only early though. It’s fine 95 percent of time, it’s the other issues that go with them which has me questioning if they are worth it
English

@TimArthur18 Think you will find most or all growers over this side will say mills and lentils don’t work. Have you blocked it in cereals too?
English

@RyanT027 Anything with a bit of green in it, lentils milk thistle etc, bridges the mills then fills up back to front. Even conditions of high moisture/humidity have caused it too
English

@AndrewThomfarms The dust is probably annoying me the most especially late in arvo and at night terrible to see at times. Agree on weeds though
English

@TimArthur18 We can definitely see the weed numbers being reduced overall. Personally i think theyre worth the big extra fuel and maintenance
English

@AndrewThomfarms Yeah I’m same, you just have to question if
Extra fuel
Less capacity
More breakdowns
More dust
Is worth it?
English

@TimArthur18 Unfortunately at times we turn ours off in lentils. But everything else seems ok
English

@farmersgrowit @soupercocky @shaneskelsey @ColMilAEIT @harvestaire_pty Eden does different options which will outlast rubber otherwise lagging kit diy
English

@TimArthur18 @soupercocky @shaneskelsey @ColMilAEIT @harvestaire_pty Thanks Tim . Good suggestions. With Draper rollers, is there anyone who puts rubber on them?

#agX Given the exorbitant pricing on many ag parts, who can we use in Aus to give us affordable parts and good service? Who can we use and support? I’ve been told Collier and Miller in nsw for header parts and engineering? Others please.
Mark Modra@farmersgrowit
Did a maintance job on the header and had these left over. Was going to throw them out till I got the bill at $145 for the 2 nuts and bolt!😬. Promptly sent them back! …..Note pricing is set by CNH , not local store. #bendover
English

@farmersgrowit @soupercocky Eden engineering for Draper rollers etc @shaneskelsey for stainless steel @ColMilAEIT @harvestaire_pty , all good options, more local stocks would be great rather than waiting for freight from interstate.

It’s not much of a day for birding, just ducking out between showers to try my luck. A Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater perched on an old wagon wheel. #birds #brucebirdlife
