Another impressive accolade for the best academy in the country. The Dallas Cup has way more historical prestige than GA Cup, even if it’s fallen off a little bit in recent years.

🧵🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿After meeting local organisers, here is a thread of early info for any fans looking to plan travel to and from games at the World Cup. 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚 - 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬 Fans are likely to be staying all around the North Texas area, particularly Dallas and Fort Worth. If you are staying in Dallas or Fort Worth, you can purchase a ticket and travel on the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) towards the Centreport Station. From there, a free bus service will run to and from the stadium for ticket holders. Rideshare options such as Uber will drop off near the eSports Stadium, with around a 15-20 minute walk to the Dallas stadium. With Fort Worth 16 miles away, and downtown Dallas 20 miles, taxis are likely to be more expensive, and traffic quite heavy. ESTC ticket holders will be located in sections towards the east of the stadium, just off AT&T way. ‘Hydration Stations’ will be placed along the route to the stadium from both the bus and taxi drop offs. Local organisers were keen to stress the likelihood of intense heat, so keep yourselves hydrated! For fans there early enough, we’d recommend heading towards Texas Live, an indoor and outdoor space with plenty of food and drink, located in between the Choctaw Stadium and the Globe Life stadium. The official but very expensive parking can be booked through the FIFA website, although other options around Arlington may be available if you plan ahead or arrive early, although given how busy it is likely to be, we wouldn’t advise leaving it to late and to chance. We would highly recommend leaving plenty of time, at least 120 mins, to get to the stadium from either downtown area. Bus services will start 5 hours before kick off, and will run up to 3 hours after the game.

@sven_safc @WeAreFreeLions We hate the ticket prices too that’s universal. But yeah we’re car centric but I’d guarantee if someone were to post about the ride you’d easily get locals to take you around, southern hospitality

@Toebuskus @WeAreFreeLions I really like america mate. But have absolutely no intention of going to this WC with what fifa have done with the ticket prices. And the location of the stadiums bar about 3 really isnt great if you dont have a car.

@WeAreFreeLions Frisco is where FC Dallas is as well as the US hall of fame. Plenty of bars in the area as well as FCD hosting events BUT make it known FCDs best player is Croatian and expected to be on the team. If anyone has questions feel free to ask away. Bbq rec - @HutchinsBBQ

@WeAreFreeLions I’d honestly say to anyone don’t waste your time in downtown Dallas it’s arguably one of the worst major metro downtowns in America, look to go from highland park up to frisco, whole stretch is very safe with lots of stuff. If your nature person head towards the OK border

@sven_safc @WeAreFreeLions DFW native (Dallas) there are plenty of places to get absolutely trashed right in the area for not a ton of money, besides while on your side of the pond to drink you can’t be in the stands our side you can get all your beer brought right to you in your seat

@WeAreFreeLions So to conclude the stadiums at dallas, Boston and new york are nowhere near dallas, Boston, and new york. Will be an absolute ball ache to get to all grounds. And when you get there it will be 20 dollars for a drink on top of your 400 dollar ticket. Sounds great.
