Political parties exist primarily to get aligned candidates on ballots and to win elections. "Furthering liberty by running as a Republican" accomplishes that goal for the Republican Party... not the Libertarian Party.

@matt200717 That is a fine goal to have and I don't fault you for having that goal. The Libertarian Party as an organization cannot have that as a goal. Running under someone else's banner actively damages the Libertarian Party.
