GWHDDs will start to dip down below normal over the coming days as a warm up sets in for late March and early April. New England and the far Northwest US will be at greatest risk for cold shots, not only leading to ups and downs in demand, but frost/freeze concerns as well. We'll be following this trend closely in our daily reports: claritywx.com/sign-up/energy

@Eric_Waldorf I sent this to a buddy from work and I swear he said the same thing

Today doesn’t officially begin until you watch the “Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama” video

@chrisjb2185 It was bizarre here because changeover from rain to sleet to wintry mix felt rapid, but then we hung in the wintry mix/unproductive light snow phase for like 2 hours. It was ludicrous.
English

@TrackerSacker The changeover was delayed here also and we wasted a bunch of qpf. We were still 50 degrees mid afternoon which I didn’t anticipate.

Monday-Tuesday Snowfall Outlook Vs Reports
Overall I have to say I’m pretty happy with the way my forecast turned out in the lower elevations of north and central East Tennessee, including the Tri-Cities and Knoxville, and Southwest Virginia also seems to have met in the mark in most cases, but I was overzealous in some higher elevations across the board.

English

@chrisjb2185 Here in Johnson City we played with wintry mix for an extremely long time before we really got serious about it. I feel like we could have hit the high end of my forecast or even better, but the hustle to an inch and a half at the end was still appreciable.
English

@TrackerSacker We had just over three inches. We had almost an inch and a half of rain prior to the snow beginning which hurt accumulation.
