I can address this. I took each of my bookmarks in X and downloaded them into a folder and had Claude summarize, draw common threads, rank advice, and then evaluate my existing setup. Took like 10 min. Result was amazing with real good suggestions for improvement and confirmation on other things I am doing.

Well, Darwin is a BSD clone essentially so one could argue the “unix” environment is Mac. Except it is hardware consistent and tested. So it sounds like Mac OS is the superior “Linux” for desktop users. Now, servers should be Debian…there’s just no more reliable and stable distribution.

@PolitiBunny Golubtsi - Russian stuffed cabbage Belyahi - Fried Siberian meat donuts (with ground pork too) that are the greatest thing ever. Stuffed bell peppers - with rice and cheese. Empanadas - Venezuelan meat pie Pelmini - dumplings I could go on, but am thinking of belyashi.

I need a recipe for ground beef that isn’t burgers, tacos, spaghetti, or meatloaf. I feel like I’m making the same things over and over again … what’s for dinner this week? HALP.

@timelinetripper Ngl, caves make me kinda nervous. Arguably far more stable, but they weren’t designed for humans to fit like mines are.

@TheFor48243 @MrLeadslinger One of my favorite scenes. Also when Mal asks Jayne “you wanna captain this ship?” Quality writing and acting all around…sadly lost. I am skeptical of this “march 14th buzz”.

Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command. It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards. Automated snapshots were gone too. In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again. If you use Terraform (or let agents touch infra), this is a good story for you to read. alexeyondata.substack.com/p/how-i-droppe…

In 1964, James Burnham designed a 39-question test to diagnose liberalism as an ideology, a coherent syndrome of beliefs that travel together without logical necessity. Most people who take it don't like their score. Take the test: burnham.millermanschool.com

@NsideMyMind23 To fight entropy. Life is, on the whole, an organizing force. For a short time, we sentient beings have the honor of knowing our contribution. While ultimately futile, our individual defiance of entropy enshrines us as the Universe’s anointed champions. Use your time wisely.

I see no mention of athleticism in your post (however years of trained skill and muscle memory are a form of athleticism) and I would consider the blocking of pockets as physical in the purest definition (not the “human” physical) This serves to illustrate the imprecise nature of language that makes defining “sports” non trivial.

When my kids watch the Olympics and say, “Is that a sport?”… here’s my rubric: SPORT = Objective score + Athleticism 🏒 GAME = Objective score - Athleticism 🥌 COMPETITION = Subjective score - Athleticism 🧁 ATHLETIC COMPETITION = Subjective score + Athleticism ⛸️

@lukedsimmons Rating: C I like the try but I make it easier Is there a physical offense and defense? If so, it’s a sport. If not, it’s an athletic competition. If no one can physically try to stop you from your goal, then I don’t consider it a sport
