DBZ Kai continued on Adult swim last week and I’m absolutely stoked. I was wrong about it getting shitcanned after Goku went SSJ which is great. Everyone gets a shot to rewatch this excellent retelling beginning to end.

The hate train for this game was more or less newbies not understanding Budokai tenkaichi was an inherently casual series. It was never meant to be some esports contender or GOTY. Just a fun DB game and that's exactly what we got.

@HMBohemond TF was not on fumes when the bayverse came out. It didn’t save the franchise. It helped it to get into the main stream of modern pop culture. There was no death and it’s not dead now. It’s just in a plateau and people don’t like what plateau it is.

Transformers went from dead to multi-billion dollar franchise to dead again for two reasons: 1. Hasbro's bizarre discomfort with Michael Bay's films being what relaunched the franchise from the grave. 2. People like this guy demanding it undermine itself for a female audience that just isn't there.
