@WinsidrAryeh Willing to bet whatever the differences were had something to do with how each side wants to handle Shakira Austin. That’s the only possible controversy I can see on the team. I think keeping her and starting her is a no brainer.

I thought her absence was a red flag especially given there are a lot of schools that will 100% throw a lot of money at her. Once the stuff about her rehabbing away from the team started it was on my radar.

This is the one I was waiting on.
Smikle did a lot of her rehab away from the team and didn’t travel to North Carolina for the tournament. She’s also in line to receive big $$ wherever she ends up.
Frese now has a lot of work to do in the portal, but a lot of freed up money.

Had seen a lot of Wizards fans say they wanted to hire Malone this offseason if the team parted with Brian Keefe.
Looks like Malone is no longer an option.
