Rio apparently “agreed terms” with Bayern on 26 May.
Even if that is true, he was probably under the pretence that Slot would still be here next season. One conversation with Iraola and hearing what he says about young players (especially when Alex Scott can be in his ear), he’ll know the best career move will be to stay put.
