$XRP didn’t appear out of nowhere. It was built for a system already breaking.
ISO 20022 started in 2004. Around the same time Ryan Fugger was building RipplePay.
Same problem, different entry point.
The problem hasn’t changed: trillions locked in nostro/vostro, slow cross-border settlement, and FX liquidity that doesn’t scale.
A global system that works, but leaks value at scale.
This isn’t new. In 1968, the International Monetary Fund launched Special Drawing Rights to solve global liquidity. It didn’t scale.
Go back to 1944, the Bretton Woods Agreement exposed the core flaw:

That problem never left.
Now the system is upgrading.
ISO 20022 standardises messaging.

@Karma_Coverage Pat it dry with paper towel first. Scour the skin. Poke little holes in it at least an inch deep, fill them with garlic and rosemary. Rob all over with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and cracked pepper.
Pop it on the oven with a shallow dish of water to catch drippings for gravy.
