Introducing Borrow Stake
Borrow Stake enables delegated node operators to increase their staking capacity without acquiring additional IAG.
Through a dedicated 10M $IAG pool, operators can borrow and delegate directly to their node, retaining full staking rewards and $ADA fee earnings.
Unlike traditional liquidity loans, borrowed IAG is immediately productive through staking — generating rewards and fee earnings from day one.
Core mechanics:
• Fixed-term borrowing (6–24 months, no early exit)
• Upfront interest payment in ADA (5–10%)
• Full reward retention by the operator
• Delegated nodes only
Borrow Stake converts idle token allocation into productive network participation.

I’d like to see an analysis of all #liqwid votes to determine the extent of the vote fixing that has taken place at the expense of community members.

@cwpaulm I wonder what the true outcome of past votes with unpopular results would have been if they didn’t have their thumb on the scale.
Particularly vote 110.

Interesting how the vote passes when the team can vote and is shut down in a massive landslide when they don't.
Its almost as if the team can control 100% of the proposals in the DAO.

@Requiembell The result really illustrates the extent to which the founders and core team used vested tokens to swing the vote in their favor.
The community’s never stood a chance.

@LaPetiteADA Thanks for pointing out Algo & Sui, I didn't consider them when I reviewed the notice.

If they aren't commodities they "fall" automatically into securities, meaning new chains, or existing chains that are for example less decentralized will be regulated by the SEC, as an example, Algo, and Sui. And of course...the SEC decides the parameters to be considered a digital commodity. 😔

GM, I just woke up to the HUGE news:
⚠️ BITCOIN AND CARDANO ARE COMMODITIES!
But...What does it mean not to be a security?
- Securities are like stocks or bonds. It has heavier rules and can’t be traded anywhere (regulated by the SEC).
-Commodities are like digital gold or oil. You can trade it freely, and it's easier for institutions to invest (regulated by the CFTC).
Why is this important? 👇
✅ Exchanges can list them without SEC approval.
✅ More institutional adoption
✅ Being regulated by the CFTC gives a legal “safe zone.”
✅ Better and more liquidity
✅ Projects can build apps, DeFi, and futures without heavy SEC hurdles.
History is happening in real time. Blink, and you'll miss the turning point. 🚀
Other cryptos considered commodities: $ETH, $XRP, $SOL, $BCH, $DOT, $AVAX, $LINK, $APT, $DOGE, $HBAR, $LTC, $SHIB, $XTZ, $XLM.

@DaveXCrypto @cwpaulm I think you’re right, thank you for the clear analysis.

I'd say we're on par with the same amount of votes from the last vote at this time frame. We have to assume some people who voted also sold after the vote was revealed and the price started to plunge, so there could be a bit less participation in the vote.
Also important to note that almost all of the votes on proposal 14 were from the team ("allegedly") and they have yet to show up. Nor do I think they will.
I think it's safe to say Liqwid wants to move pass this and I think we're going to get the outcome everyone wanted. If it doesn't come out as a yes vote everyone is going to lose their minds and liqwid is going to sink. A lot of those stablecoins in the platform i'm sure are investors (6M USDCX isn't theres or they wouldn't be trying to take sub $1M) so I'm sure investors are now watching too.

With the huge news about #LayerZero today I'm a little worried about the community's awareness of the #liqwid $night allocation re-vote.
Go to app.liqwid.finance/governance to cast your vote for Proposal 119 to ensure you receive your full allocation of $night.
