Kampala, skirt is too short. I returned it. Ankara, skirt is too tight, I could barely walk. I returned it. Crepe, this one is perfect. Birthday dress, she made a different design from what I sent her. Even though everybody said it is fine, it pissed me off. Brocade…..

@mutmine_o I bought 5 clothes in the past weeks, they all sew nonsense for me. As I speak, I have returned three. Things like this make me miss my sister so bad.

you have to send a message that is helpful to the clients Not just how your products or services benefit companies but how it benefits their company, make it personal and direct So in essence Cold messages can't just be that, you have to do a little research to make it personal

I might have cracked the secret to cold messages.. Reading the book "how to win and influence people" made me realise that everyone is so invested in themselves they can hardly see past their nose. But cold messages require you to move past your needs to the customers own,

→ Have a goal in mind (e.g finish this book by the weekend) → Divide your goal into mini goals for each day ( e.g. read 4 pages a day) you can go further by doing 1 page in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. Just make it achievable → Desire is a key part of focus,

if you're a nobody with nothing trying to network with millionaires here's the badass yegor aura hack that'll get you in any room fuck "provide value first" advice you don't HAVE value yet that's why you're reading this but aura? that's free and nobody can stop you from having it the yegor aura hack is stupid simple: stop trying to provide value you don't have and start being someone worth knowing. these are different things and if you don't understand that you're ngmi. rich people are bored as fuck and surrounded by NPCs who all say the same shit. "love to pick your brain" makes them want to kill themselves. but if you're the one psycho who actually knows weird shit about them? different story entirely. studied this one CEO for three weeks straight, found his college thesis from 1994, read every failed startup he had. dropped one reference to his first company that bombed and he literally stopped mid-sentence like "how the fuck you know about that?" instant respect because nobody else cared enough to dig that deep. everyone knows his net worth but nobody knows his origin story except me and now i'm in his phone. here's what you soft fucks don't understand about aura: you can have it while being broke. aura isn't money, it's energy. it's walking into rooms like you belong there even when security is eyeing you. it's being the youngest person there but talking like you've seen more shit. it's admitting you have nothing to offer YET but you will and they should lock you down early. one kid i know gets invited everywhere despite having $12 in his bank account because he knows every illegal poker game, every underground party, every weird experience in the city. millionaires keep him around because he makes tuesday interesting and that's worth more than another boring fuck with a pitch deck. the reverse psychology is so simple it's retarded: everyone asks successful people FOR shit but nobody asks them ABOUT shit. "how do i get rich" gets you blocked instantly but "that story about you fighting the yakuza in osaka was insane what happened next" gets you a 45 minute conversation and probably dinner. ask about their hobbies nobody knows about, the failure from 15 years ago everyone forgot, their relationship with their father, the book that fucked them up at 19. real human shit not forbes 30 under 30 shit. they're so used to people seeing them as walking ATMs that when you treat them like humans they actually remember you. but here's the thing that separates aura from desperation: hungry and desperate look similar but feel completely different. hungry is "i'll figure this out no matter what" while desperate is "please save me daddy." one gets you adopted as a protégé, the other gets you blocked and probably made fun of in group chats. if you really have nothing to offer yet, admit it with your chest out. "look i can't provide business value today but in five years i'll be running shit and you'll want to say you knew me when i had nothing." the balls to say that directly? that's more valuable than another kissless virgin with a warm introduction from their uncle. initiative is everything when you have nothing else. they mention a problem once in passing? go solve it that night without asking permission and send it at 6am with "use this or don't, just felt inspired." not about the solution being perfect, it's about showing you move different than everyone else waiting for permission to breathe. the yegor aura hack is basically this: be undeniable without having anything. speak 60% less than you think you should, dress like you already made it even if you're taking the bus home, walk into buildings like your name is on them, leave conversations while they still want more instead of lingering like a needy ex. you don't need value when you have aura because value is transactional but aura is magnetic. one needs constant proof and updates, the other just exists and pulls people in. if you're still sending "would love to connect" messages on linkedin you're soft as baby shit and deserve to stay irrelevant. stop being another forgettable fuck with a business card and start being someone people tell stories about. that's the only networking hack that matters when you're starting from zero.

you're definitely retarded no argument there but you accidentally stumbled onto why i print $$$ the average person is SO FUCKING STUPID it's actually offensive to actual retarded people i watched someone spend 30 SECONDS looking for the buy button it was the ONLY BUTTON ON THE PAGE giant red flashing "BUY NOW" they clicked the logo instead THIS is who has all the money normal people are the STUPIDEST creatures with money that evolution ever created - they buy courses on how to breathe - they finance cars they can't afford - they think crypto is a personality trait - they spend $200/month on subscriptions they forgot about 95 IQ IS WHERE THE MONEY LIVES but here's what separates me from you idiots... i can sell to BOTH the 95 IQ moron AND the 145 IQ virgin at the SAME TIME watch this: - tweet like a degenerate with spelling errors = normies engage - hide actual high-level strategy in the middle = smart people buy - use fuck every 3 words = algorithm loves controversy - drop $100k insights casually = authority without trying i write at a 3rd grade level about PhD concepts drunk uncles share my content hedge fund managers dm me THAT'S the fucking skill ragebait the masses convert the elites collect from everyone you retards either go full intellectual (nobody cares about your thesaurus) or full retard (nobody respects you) i'm strategically retarded temporarily stupid intelligently ignorant study selling to retards profit from retards just don't BECOME retarded although looking at your landing pages... too late for most of you study the yegor method
Jason Applebaum@Jason______A

I finally figured out my superpower. I’m retarded. Let me explain. I can talk business with some of the smartest people alive, but I also understand how dumb the average human actually is. Most “smart” people can’t. The average mind is so incredibly simple, you have no idea. To the average person, 2+2 = tree. A smart person cannot understand this, I can. That landing page you think is perfect? Watch a Mouseflow heat map. The user is clicking every single button except that pretty one that says “See If You Qualify.” To your smart mind it’s obvious, but when 2+2 = tree, it’s not obvious. You need flashing buttons. Arrows. Big “CLICK HERE.” You have to design for the modern day village idiot. My edge? I can think like them without being them. Most people can’t. Do your best to channel your inner retard. Trust me when I tell you, no matter how retarded your mind can get, it’s not as retarded as the average human walking this earth. PS: nothing against Special needs people because they are a are smarter then then day to day humans in this world. I bet they can function far better then most of the people we are all dealing with daily. PSS: I am aware this post will be throttled because of my word usage but so be it.

Speed is the difference between success and mediocrity. Every week you wait and “think” You diminish the rewards and increase the risk. Will you completely miss the train?

I've also come to understand that sales have to do with knowing your type of clients, Do you want to sell to male or female? Age 17 or 40 these questions drive you closer to converting. What did you learn after being in sales for a while?

A week ago I was onboarded into @zidepeople sales and bizDev intern position. I learnt a lot from the team about how sales work, one of the many things I learnt is using emotional triggers. These are in form of → selling with stories → finding the pain point

The job I just accepted came from someone I worked with 10 years ago. Over the last decade we kept in touch: - coffee chats - sports banter - birthday texts Didn't seem like much but it was enough to keep communication lines open. In our last conversation I mentioned I was starting to look into new opportunities. A few weeks later he teed up an intro. Reminder - the most important part of your job isn't your salary or title. It's the alumni network you're joining. Just like sports has coaching trees - your career has a network tree. In this week's newsletter: how to build a career tree that actually pays off.
