Democrats claim they’re no longer for open borders. But they just tried to defund border security today. Democrats also claim they’re not the “Defund the Police” Party anymore. But they just tried to completely defund multiple law enforcement agencies. You can’t get more radical—or more reckless in this threat environment—than that.

The United States Coast Guard has purchased the former Birmingham-Southern College campus in west Birmingham, selecting the storied 192-acre property as the site of a new, top-tier Coast Guard training hub that will bring recruits from across the nation to Alabama. One of the most crucial law enforcement agencies in our country is ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). They work to bring down human traffickers, drug smugglers, child predators, and more across our nation and around the world. Democrats shut down the government and are letting funding for HSI lapse—an agency that has brought down some of the most notorious criminals in the world. Let’s look at some of them.
