I shall not name the individuals or organizations involved, except perhaps to say that @chapterfourug was one of the liaison organizations and that the very #OutrageMerchant who suddenly saw another opportunity to drag me-for frustrating their well orchestrated election period attacks-was one of the references. These activists would otherwise have never gotten emails of embassy staff on “human rights” desks or even heard back. If you doubt, try and write any embassy a cold email looking for funding. The stuff in this world works on personal relationships built with these actors. Basically just like the nepotism and influence peddling we see in government.
