@LucasBotkin I like 95% agree with this. There is a 5% where certain roles are a huge disadvantage of being struck first and then from a position of distress have to employ a firearm where a safety is a disadvantage, but those guys already can use safety and they're making a conscious choice.

Utilizing a safety on your rifle is the lowest skill requirement when it comes to shooting. After the first couple weeks of handling a rifle, it should be subconscious. When eyes leave optic - safety comes on. It’s that simple. The safety only slows you down if you suck.

@_JesseCinco So competition shooter that joined the Army and became a GWOT'er, it took 2 range trips and one team on team to figure it out. The difference between competition and "tactical" is comms, time and position. Once you have experience and a dash of failure they both become training.

So today we put one of the best pistol competition shooters on the planet in full duty kit and had him run a pretty tough rifle stage. It’s weird, it’s almost like shooting is shooting much like running is running and most of the fake and gay stuff people do on the range is INDEED fake and gay

I'm having a hard time imagining someone could be this stupid. A guy comes into our store and special orders a gun. We order it for him, it arrives, he comes in fills out all the paperwork, we have a copy of his driver's license and his signature, and he leaves with the gun. He goes home and files a credit card claim saying he never got the gun. Credit card company takes our money. Nothing like committing a felony in which you leave your ID, signature, and it's all on video. Just called the cops to file the report...
