@AirwingMarine It doesn’t matter even if they are marginally better though, forcing people to play arena when some of us have spent $250 on the game already, we should have access to the same battlepass on main game available to unlock it through playing. This arena force is exhausting.

This post is going to just sound contrarian, I get it... I played Rust most of today and am Just now getting into the details of the patches (holy shit that game is addicting). But legitimately, the attachment stuff with arena doesn't upset me in the slightest. It comes across to me as cosmetic differences that are a just rewards for playing Arena. The difference between one of these 'Arena' M4s and one from Tarkov parts just isn't meaningful. I can actually build a better M4 on Tarkov according to my preferences, because I don't care about ergo past 60 or so on most guns. Some of the parts from arena are marginally better than their counterparts in Tarkov, but not meaningfully enough to actually matter. And right now, with how FUBAR attachments over all are and different weapon builds being flat and boring, it's all a fart in the wind anyways. It's going to all change and get flipped on it's head again in a month. Now the discussion about paying for crates to jump you ahead in the battle pass cause you can drop $80... That's a different topic. That has inherent problems regardless if it gives you better or equal parts, and not just cosmetics.

@gator_gum To be fair, they didn’t cut 100% of the taxes. About a third of them. As a conservative, it’s a step in the right direction and hopefully, eventually, they scrap the full amount of taxes to give more relief in the coming months, if not, hey at least we’re saving 10-15 C/L

But they could temporarily relieve the taxes on them to give us a break, it’s also another reason we should be benefiting from our oil reserves, but instead we sell to the states, they refine it and sell it back to us at a premium. Make it make sense lol. Spend the 2-3 trillion a build a proper refinery ffs and we would not be in this mess.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to blame Carney for high gas prices when literally the entire world is suffering with high gas prices or gas shortages due to the war in iran.

Why hasn’t Carney scrapped the tax on the gas for a few months while this war is going on to give Canadians a break? Why hasn’t Carney lowered taxes for the middle class? ( As Canada is one of the most affluent middle classes in the world ). The country you had in the 80s-90s is not the same country we have today. Have you had your economic hardships? Yes 100%. I see people making $80-90k a year struggling. This shouldn’t happen. Liberals have been in power for over ten years now. We pay unfathomable amounts of taxes, both federally & provincially. It isn’t being spent well. The funding is all over the place. Our healthcare is in shambles, our roads & highways are shit whenever you look, our foreign spending is through the roof, we don’t invest in our own recourses like we should. I’m not in any ways saying conservatives are the fix here but it sure isn’t the liberals either. Would be nice to see a strong alternative party.

I know it’s not, I’m not blaming Rory at all, green jacket holders get a lot of benefits and they should be used. Hatton went on a sick run, Henley, Rose is always in the mix. Reed was in the mix. Anyone can win.

@CoolGuyGames Agree heavy on this! Dire is brutal, you spawn maintenance you can push the team quarantine or ai uplink, spawn bio and there is like 3 spawns all close af. Def needs a rework

It's about that time Bungie needs to start looking at spawns. When players can predict exact spawns, it kills the tension. Randomize/rework them. Early game should feel dynamic, not rehearsed.

@Arrrrash I get this take but my view also is, it will make ranked a better product for people who solo queue fill or whatever. Less people bringing half ass kits because they’ve lost them all in ranked. Lets people gather gear throughout the week.

The only thing I don’t like about this is that it’s weekends only. I know Destiny did similar stuff, but I’d rather ranked just always be playable
