Consequence of Taliban handing over TTP Taliban group really is between a rock and a hard place. Although them outright handing over #TTP leaders / fighters to Pakistan is out of question, but even 'curbing' or 'stopping' them from further attacks in #Pakistan could have dire consequences that will eventually lead to them imploding from within. Here are some of the most probably consequences according to me: 1) Defection of TTP & Afghan Taliban fighters to ISKP or formation of a new rival group. 2) Permanent shattering of the 'fear factor' they have among Afghan populous, seeing such a capitulation to Pakistan as a defeat, the Afghan people will rise up against them everywhere in the country. 3) Massive setback to their 'Jihadist' image, permanently tarnishing their image in the 'Islamist' circles and with their own fighters. 4) Ceasing of financial / military aids by 3 countries that are secretly encouraging this whole project. Which is why the decision regarding #TTP or BLA is beyond the control of Taliban. 5) Fracturing of Taliban administration, attempted coup by hardliners/radicals, or outright civil war between different factions that have been desperately trying to stay united All in all, the issue is no longer as small as the fate of #TTP / IMP / BLA / BLF / IIP - the very existence of this movement hinges upon this issue.
