A sample use case that would be cool to see: I have an CS LLM that uses Slack chats.
How can I use Auth0 to simplify the querying all the Slack permission semantics (orgs, channels, etc) and their implications to show the user the right data?

It's akin to Disney - you need to marry a distribution strategy with strong content (merchandise that people want). Think he failed with the latter.

John Donahue is out as Nike’s CEO.
I’m sure there’s lots of reasons, but one of his bets that I thought would really work ended up flopping. He bet that they could go direct to consumers, disintermediating the middle man. I thought that would work as folks were loyal to the brand, not the local Foot Locker. Foot Locker et al didn’t add much value either.
Thoughts on what happened re the channel?

@ECaliberSeven I did a similar analysis here in late July, but started with Cook's Toss-Up Seats as the initial filter. Column H has the fundraising numbers (per OpenSecrets), and I also triangulated with Oath. Curious to see what you think!

Recently, some folks have asked me where donations would best help Dems flip the House. IMO, there exist clear answers: four Dem challengers in Tossup races with MUCH less $$$ than their GOP opponents:

Also talked about something I really agree with, which is that the truly AI-enabled companies have yet to arrive. Right now, everyone is adding the obvious AI features (customer service chatbots, etc.). But when we look at previous paradigm shifts, like mobile, the ultimate game changing companies weren’t just putting information that was already on the web in an app. They were companies like Instagram and Uber that really couldn’t have existed without the mobile phone. I am excited for more second order ideas in AI!

Earlier this year, we had another baby.
Going from 1 ➡ 2 kids feels:
• Emotionally easier (less scary)
• Logistically more complex (more chaos)
We have more confidence in our ability to improvise. But there are fewer hands / eyes / ears to go around.

The contemporary web change that upsets me the most is how bad the login form experience has become. Often two page loads for a password and session times of 24 hours are common. Also “magic links” so I have to wait for an email now sometimes. Just awful. (SSO a large issue)
