We won big this election. ✅ Stephen Sherrill won District 2 ✅ Alan Wong won District 4 ✅ Phil Kim won Board of Education ✅ Prop A passed ✅ Prop B passed ❌ Prop C failed ✅ Prop D failed The results signal continued support for the progress San Francisco has made over the last two years, and for leaders focused on affordability, effective governance, and long-term economic growth. We’re proud of the campaigns we ran to get good information out to voters, grateful to everyone who supported this work, and ready to do it again in November.

State Senator Scott Wiener was surrounded, heckled, and physically intimidated at San Francisco’s Trans March over his Israel-Gaza positions. If you disagree with an elected official, protest them. Harassment and intimidation have no place in a democracy. growsf.org/news/2026-07-0…

To tackle our open air drug market, we have to take multiple approaches to cut off the supply. Drug dealers in San Francisco continue to adapt - from selling different drugs to operating out of different storefronts. Recently, City Attorney @DavidChiu in collaboration with @SFPD launched an operation to investigate - and shut down - Tenderloin corner stores that have been serving as fronts for illegal meth dealing. Over the last year and a half, these operations have resulted in lawsuits or closures of over a dozen such businesses. The families, immigrants, and refugees who live in the Tenderloin deserve to feel safe when walking down the street or simply visiting their neighborhood corner store. Operations like these will help to ensure that, and I will continue to work to support our public safety officials in accomplishing that goal.

SFUSD passed its $1.36B budget, but the 4-3 vote reflected concerns about connecting spending to student outcomes. Passing the budget was necessary to avoid state takeover. Now SFUSD needs to show how the money improves reading, math, and attendance. growsf.org/news/2026-06-2…

Thank you to Dennis Herrera for decades of public service to SF. Mayor Lurie will now pick who runs water, power, and some of the city’s biggest contracts. SFPUC needs clean government, competent management, and infrastructure that actually gets built. growsf.org/news/2026-06-2…

We launched a new website with the details of every campaign we've run over the last six years. Every ad, every channel, every dollar. Two reasons. First, transparency builds trust. We became the most trusted voter guide in the city by being honest with voters. This website holds our own spending to that same standard. Second, we want you to have confidence that GrowSF is the best place to donate in San Francisco politics. Small budget, big reach across many channels. The majority of our budget goes to media buys, not overhead. San Francisco didn't turn around overnight. It took years to build the common sense, pro-growth majority that's moving the city forward. We didn't win every race. But we get better every election. And we're ready to do it again in November. Check it out: campaigns.growsf.org

New data show fewer tents and occupied vehicles on SF streets as Mayor Lurie expands enforcement and outreach. Sidewalks and streets are for public use, not for sleeping, and people should not have to navigate encampments or long-term vehicle storage. growsf.org/news/2026-06-1…

It’s official: Prop D has failed! San Franciscans don’t fall for misleading campaigns. Backers spent big on a tax that would drive jobs and revenue out of the city. Voters saw through it and voted to keep businesses here and back SF’s recovery. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/s-f…

San Francisco is pro-housing. Yesterday, San Franciscans overwhelmingly elected Stephen Sherrill, Alan Wong, and Scott Wiener, all strong supporters of building more homes. The message from voters was clear: build housing, lower costs, and make room for more families in San Francisco.

Yesterday’s election showed that San Franciscans support the progress we are making and want us to continue the momentum. I know we still have work to do—and we are going to keep our foot on the accelerator to continue getting results for our residents.   Thank you to the voters for Passing Prop A to help make sure our city is prepared in the event of an emergency. And congratulations to Supervisors Stephen Sherrill, Alan Wong, and School Board President Phil Kim. I look forward to continuing working together to serve San Franciscans.    We are just getting started. Let’s go, San Francisco.
