@javierforelder I'm not sure. She mentioned one ("The white car that we had in Florida" ) we hired years ago. I think I'll get her to look it up to keep her excitement going. We haven't even booked flights or worked out the dates yet but this will be her starting to think about everything

Our daughter has been inactive for 8 yrs. Recently, I was prompted to invite her to come with us to the SL Temple Open House next year. "Why would I want to do that?" she scoffed. Weeks later I asked again, this time a quiet "ok". Today she asked what car we're hiring😊#SaintsOnX

Went to Japan last year, partly, to see the Cherry trees. The one in our back garden is currently like: hello I'm still here, some tlc would be nice

Whilst some of the missionaries from last week's intake at the Kinshasa MTC may be small in stature (relative to President and Sister Proudfoot), their faith in Jesus and their desire to serve Him is beyond measure. They will be great in the eyes of those whom they teach.

I think this is getting ahead of temple work for deceased transgender individuals reinforcing that their work must be done for the gender at birth, not their identity. I think it's also getting at any activism by Bishops or SP's or even temple workers, allowing a temple recommend and ordinances for a TG individual under their opposite gender. Of course, that would violate multiple other policies already stated.

It says TEMPLE ordinances. Does that mean they’re going to open up baptisms for people who identify as the opposite sex?

I’ve lived in my current ward for 6.5 years and feel like I wouldn’t miss it if I moved away tomorrow. I participate in the activities we have, and I’m active in my calling, but do others (esp men) feel this same way? Almost zero emotional connection to the ward?

@EikonicShadow Nowhere does it say that in the BoM. All the mourn stuff, etc. is a downstream effect of the actual covenant. We are not told to do it; rather, we WILL naturally do it if we take the covenant seriously.

Almost daily, I see headlines about people being arrested for sexually abusing children and infants. Please stop calling this “mental illness” and start calling it what it really is… EVIL. It’s the worst kind of evil, and we should be horrified at its prevalence in our society. How much longer will God stay His hand?

@BookofMomma6 That happened with my nephew. His dream mission was New Zealand and that's where he was called. Ended up marrying a kiwi whom he met about a year after his mission

He opened his call to find out he will be serving in his dream mission. His first choice. I stressed out so much, and it was a magical night. He has already spent a month in this country, and we consider it a very special place for our family. DM me if you want to know where.

How do you offer a lesson in elders quorum / relief society without coming across as preachy? What works for you? Whenever I give a lesson (which has been only twice before) I always feel like the group is annoyed and disconnected. Update: Person who DMd me a threat to gang r*pe me and my children appears to be, or recently was, employed as a first-responder dispatcher. SLCPD Detective asked me if I’d like to pursue a warrant for his arrest?

@ErodJr @PurpleKoya21 My wife & I got engaged on our second date. Been married 28 years. We spoke every night on the phone in between dates + wrote. She was at one end of the country, I was at the other. The dates were about a month apart. I'm not saying everyone should do that but it was right for us
