I believe this new model in Claude Code is a glimpse of the future we're hurtling towards, maybe as soon as the first half of next year: software engineering is done. Soon, we won't bother to check generated code, for the same reasons we don't check compiler output.

@samlambert I kinda wish this were true. I wouldn’t have to work so hard. These AI coding systems are amazing! Every day I can’t believe they are real. I’m not working any less though. I’m working more. Im doing more, and there is still a ton to do.

This children's playground is across the street from the goddamn police station where 20+ officers are positioned and nothing is getting done. California Democrats have had plenty of time and money to solve this humanitarian crisis. instead they chose to enable chaos and lawlessness for financial gain through corrupt non-profits who benefited from the suffering of the less fortunate on the streets.

@elonmusk I had an amazing experience overall. I do have one complaint: i never got my tax credit because I thought i didnt qualify. Most mistakes like that can be simply corrected. However the dealerships were completely unwilling and unable to simply register my VIN after the fact.
