His name is Sameer Wankhede.
He is a 2008 batch IRS officer.
In 2021 he led India’s biggest drug bust on a cruise ship.
He arrested Aryan Khan. The political backlash was immediate.
He was transferred out of NCB. Sent to Chennai.
A tribunal later called the transfer arbitrary and biased.
Then in 2025 the government issued a chargesheet against him.
Three years after the events.
A tribunal quashed it in January 2026.
Called it malice and abuse of process.
The government went to the Delhi High Court. Got the order reversed.
Last week the Supreme Court said the government appointed an inquiry officer without giving him a chance to respond.
That is a basic right.
He did his job.
India made sure he paid for it.

Between January 1 and March 15 this year India recorded 170 custodial deaths.
That is more than 2 deaths every single day.
In the last 25 years 2253 people died in police custody in India.
In those 25 years police were convicted in exactly 3 cases.
All three convictions happened in one year. 2017.
From 2018 to 2023 the conviction count was zero.
Six consecutive years. Zero convictions.
Jayaraj and Bennix died in June 2020.
9 officers convicted of murder in March 2026.
Today all 9 sentenced to death.
That is why this case matters.
Not because it happened.
Because it almost never does.

No proper base, no acrylic surface, no finishing.
Last year in India, two children died within 48 hours after basketball poles collapsed due to poor construction and maintenance.

Found an insect in Vande Bharat train food (Ahmedabad → Mumbai). Atleast 2 such cases in my coach, everyone stopped eating after that. Vendor: M/S Brandavan Food Products (part of RK Group). @fssaiindia @AshwiniVaishnaw @RailMinIndia @IRCTCofficial Just one request to the authorities, please raid them. I am certain the food is not being prepared as per FSSAI standards. When found guilty, their license should be cancelled. Hope this doesn’t get settled through bribes.
