@KnicksCentral the whole taking over thing is blown out of proportion. the arena has a capacity of about 20,000 even if there were 2000 knicks fans, it's a 90/10 split. 2k fans is more than enough to drown out the sounds of 18k silent fans. if sixers didn't suck they'd see their fans were there

@jackinhoff6 @NBA_NewYork No the 76ers packages are ordered and distributed per series. Not sure how other teams do it. And at anytime during the series you can request a refund of remaining games within 24 hours of game.

@AlexDLalaLa @NBA_NewYork So of course they love giving refunds for the face value that you paid them up front. so they benefit from the influx of cash flow upfront and the closer to game time the higher the value.

@AlexDLalaLa @NBA_NewYork Great which would lead me to my second point which is that the sixers and likely all teams especially in the postseason have partnerships with third party ticket marketplaces the sixers ever used to wear the stubhub logo on their jerseys

@SpikeEskin a szn ticket holder if you want your seats for the playoffs you would’ve had to but the entire playoff strip for every possible game in 4 series with a price multiplier as the series progress and you had to commit to that for what we thought this team was a month and a half ago

Of course there are some Sixers ticket holders who sell, but I imagine many Knicks fans are getting the playoff tickets directly from the team. Sixers have a decent season ticket base but no way the entire arena is even close to pre-sold out.
