Every key player from Tombstone admits this wasn’t extremely well made, despite being revered as one of the best westerns by the masses. Kurt Russell was essentially the de facto Director due to the credit Director being in over his head from the jump. Although well acted and extremely quotable, it had structural issues.

Unfortunately, aircraft systems, particularly sensors, are increasingly AI-driven. And AI development is a competition between precisely two nations. The USA and China. We will need to buy from one or the other. If we buy from neither, we will be at a competitive disadvantage. Europe has fallen behind in technology race.

Buying American used to be the default solution in Europe. That's changing and some US companies are feeling the chill.

@FinanceFilosoof Voor mezelf (tijdelijk emigreren): ik was niet malcontent in Belgie (nog altijd niet), maar wou het avontuur.

Emigreren is de beste beslissing die ik ooit heb gemaakt, maar vergeet niet dat het moeilijk is en dat niet iedereen het kan. Je hebt echt wel een goede motivatie nodig. Neem nu bijvoorbeeld mij. Ik ben eenzaam geworden tijdens de coronaperiode en ben toen ook mijn job op de luchthaven verloren. Emigreren gaf me in 2021 de kans om de lockdowns te ontsnappen en terug een leven op te bouwen en vooruitzichten te hebben. Iets wat ik niet had als jongere terwijl ik toen leefde in een kot van 9 vierkante meter. Ik was diep ongelukkig van maart 2020 tot juni 2021. Emigreren was mijn ticket naar hoop naar een beter leven. En belangrijk: ik moest niemand achterlaten. Vrienden kon ik niet zien op straffe van een boete, ik was alleen want had geen partner, familie wou me niet zien want er waren nog geen vaccins beschikbaar. En wat laat je dan achter? Weinig tot niets En dat is het punt. Het leven wat ik heb kunnen opbouwen sindsdien had ik nooit durven dromen jaren geleden. Ik heb in die tijd meerdere bedrijven gestart, internationale vrienden gemaakt, nieuwe liefdes gekend en 35 landen bezocht. Ik betreur vooral dat ik niet eerder heb durven springen. Maar emigreren is vooral makkelijk wanneer je niets hebt om achter te laten. Heb je dat wel? Dan weet ik dat niet iedereen dat kan achterlaten. Je taal, de normen en waarden van mensen, je cultuur…Daarnaast floreer je makkelijker in een omgeving die je kent. Het is niet dat alles in het buitenland makkelijker zal worden in het begin. Meer zelfs, het is echt werken om te integreren in het begin. Dat komt niet vanzelf. Mijn mening? Hou mensen blij en dan hoeven ze niet te emigreren. Geef ze genoeg jobkansen, menselijke connecties, goede levensomstandigheden, lage levenskosten en dan blijft de meerderheid. En dan zie je niet tienduizenden mensen een emigratiebeurs bezoeken. You cannot start a war and then hand it over to others who are not involved. If you say this, you simply confirm that it was a stupid idea to start it because in the end you really don’t have any important interests in the region.

My husband doesn't bother to listen to anything I say so I've stopped telling him anything about myself. It's just delivery of information now. He hasn't noticed. I'm gutted but I'll never leave because of the children.

Someone made a good point: why haven't the Gulf states invested more heavily in their defence, given the volatility of their region? Why are they relying so heavily on the U.S.?

You must understand that in new Cold War, commodities & supply chains will get much more expensive for those middle powers that refuse to join a bigger club - it’s either US or DragonBear. If you are on your own without a strategic membership and contribution, you‘ll pay more.

Pedro will get us Europeans into the DragonBear axis instead. By further deepening the relations with China, Europe will extend the Russian war effort against Ukraine for this decade. Pedro is obviously a smart strategist like the many we have in Brussels and Europe right now.
