@StrixAutarch @accusedarsonist @DelusionPosting -20F is very very cold. 0F is very cold 32F is exactly where water freezes 70F is warm 90F is hot 110F is very hot Fahrenheit explains the body’s experience to temperature. The body can sense temperature change to within .5°F. 1°F = 9/5°C. So Fahrenheit is more precise.

18-year-old Erin Marie Cowser is suing the San Bernardino Police Department after an officer body-slammed her face-first to the pavement while she was already handcuffed, resulting in a concussion, traumatic brain injury, and multiple lacerations to her face. Erin Marie Cowser alleged in a lawsuit filed that a police officer body-slammed her face-first to the ground while she was handcuffed during a May 2025 incident. Cowser accused the same officer of causing her face to hit the metal floor of his patrol vehicle. She said she suffered a concussion and memory loss, as well as other injuries, including cuts and bruises to her face and body. "I remember being terrified — and then I don't remember anything at all," she said in a written statement. "I woke up hurt, confused, and being told things that I later learned weren't true about what happened to me." Cowser alleged in the lawsuit that the officer and his partner lied multiple times about the use of force that led to her injuries, a charge the department has denied.

@ochocinco This is a crazy way to set questions. It means the student will have to solve each option to determine which gives the answer in the questions. This will be time consuming.

@Gunsmokespr04 @TaraBull How would they know who they are chasing if the vehicle was stolen and the tag was swapped? Do you think they have a magical ritual they do which gives the social security number of the person they are chasing or something? Public safety would be taking him off the streets.

Good shoot or bad shoot? A store clerk in Oakland accused a shopper of stealing. A scuffle ensued. After the scuffle, the clerk returned to the register and the shopper blocked the entrance. Finally the guy reached into his backpack and said, ‘check it out.’ Fearing he had a weapon, the clerk opened fire. Killing the guy. Thoughts?

@nonsensical912 @ClownWorld While I dislike violence against animals, I think this is an important distinction. You wouldn’t be trying to hurt the cat, you’re trying to communicate an idea, “don’t fuck with me”. Cats don’t see humans as a different species, sometimes you need to speak cat.

A house cat attacked its owner out of nowhere, leaving her shocked. This is misdirected aggression. Unfamiliar scents, sudden movements, loud noises. People forget cats aren't fully domesticated. They just tolerate us until something flips.

@nyp_qoo Cherish these times regardless. I have the same story with my mother, last year she passed away. At the end, she couldn’t even feed herself, she forgot. She didn’t remember who I was, but she met my family at least, before she passed.

I watched a junior admin insist the VPN was fine. He logged into a workstation. He ran ping 10.0.0.45. It replied. He shrugged and said the VPN was up. I asked him if he thought ICMP was the new TLS handshake. He looked confused and said ping was standard. I told him ping tests ICMP, not TCP. The VPN could allow pings but block everything else. He wouldn't know the difference. I showed him nc -zv 10.0.0.45 443. It timed out. I told him ping costs us an hour of false confidence per incident. I disabled ICMP on the test server and forced him to write a health check that tries three different TCP ports.

@midspaceAU @thematrixb0t Bro you can just use a registry key to prevent that. You can also edit your local group policy. There are options, only if you know though. Onedrive by default only backs up certain folders, just put your stuff in a folder that it doesn’t manage before you delete stuff.

BILL GATES’ MICROSOFT CAN ERASE YOUR ENTIRE COMPUTER - AND MOST PEOPLE DON’T REALIZE IT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE A man is going viral after exposing what millions of Windows users are just now realizing about Bill Gates’ Microsoft. "I think they should have to go to jail for this." Windows updates quietly turn on OneDrive without a plain English warning. Your files don’t get “backed up.” They get moved. Your computer becomes a temporary access point. Microsoft’s servers become the primary copy. Then the trap snaps shut. People report: • Family photos gone • Work files wiped • Years of data erased • Clean desktops with no warning • A little icon asking: “Where are my files?” Many thought it was ransomware. It wasn’t. Turning OneDrive off can delete everything locally. Deleting files to “free up space” deletes them everywhere. The only way out? A buried menu… or a YouTube tutorial. Nowhere does it clearly say: “We are transferring your entire computer to our servers.” Millions clicked “Update” without knowing this was included. If a company can silently take control of your files and delete them with one wrong click - how is this not malware?

@GhettoCode @Lucky7475228526 @AmiriKing It’s okay you don’t know how the law works. It is quite complicated, but I’ll learn you some knowledge. There are these legal concepts known as “castle doctrine”, “no duty to retreat”, and “defense of self and others”. All of which apply here. There is plenty here for a defense.

That's not how self defense legally works. Self defense is what's known as an "affirmative defense". You're basically affirming, "yes, I committed homocide (a crime) but here's why" and YOU are required to prove it was self defense. The prosecution doesn't have to prove it wasn't. They don't have to prove the other guy wasn't coming back. You have to prove he was, or at least that a "reasonable person" would think they were. And the bottom line is it's unreasonable to shoot people for reaching into a fucking bag. "He reached into a bag so I shot him!" Don't be retarded.

@dalobstah1 @GenevaInvestor @elonmusk Newsom being simultaneously the worst politician and continuously reelected should be enough to tell you that elections in California are not actually run by the people. If that were true, who keeps voting for Newsom? Elections in California have long been a fraud.
