To those saying Ron DeSantis should stay away from Trump, hear me out: The 2028 Republican presidential nominee will come from the administration, like it or not. Right now Ron is not a national household name. As AG, he would be. And his competence and intelligence would stand out in contrast to many of his peers. This might be the only way Ron has a chance of being POTUS next cycle.

Ron DeSantis isn’t great only because he single-handedly turned the 3rd biggest state from swing to R+20, he did it while being the most right wing governor in America by a mile.
