After 500+ days in custody, the Filton jury returned not guilty verdicts on aggravated burglary for all, and no convictions on any other counts. Elbit Systems arms Israel’s genocide in Gaza and this Labour government enables it. Solidarity with all who took a stand, and all facing repression for speaking up for Palestine. Even before today's meeting, Liverpool put the ball firmly in Salah's court. Liverpool have made their position to Salah clear: they want him to stay and will now hold further discussions to try and find a path forward. Removing Salah from Inter was viewed as a pragmatic move, but there was no desire within the club to aggravate the situation further, nor has Salah been officially punished or fined. Further conversations still needed to find a long-term resolution after a positive meeting today, and if Salah still wants a move this winter, the onus is on him to present options to Liverpool. #LFC want Salah to continue at the club, while backing for Slot remains following the Egyptian striker's comments. Multiple Saudi clubs are prepared to bid if Salah becomes genuinely available and affordable, but there is still some caution from dealmakers as they wait to also see how the dust settles. Salah's inclusion against Brighton is an important step and avoids further short-term tension. Can also reveal if Saudi clubs are to make an approach, no new funding for January will be provided by the Player Acquisition Centre of Excellence (PACE). The seasonal budget is already allocated, and Saudi clubs, for Salah or any other star in January, must find a means to fund a transfer without relying on new central funding.🇪🇬
