@rachelrapp Agent -> pull data from each into a centralized notion DB. I then assign tasks in that DB to various agents.

Slack, email (personal and work), WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Notion, Linear… How does everyone keep up with their inboxes? Is the answer just to be chronically online?

@NotionHQ why does the Meetings tab only show my primary Google calendar? My second account shows in Notion Calendar but not in the main app. Bug or intended?

@NotionHQ You guys need a default date database! Date is a property in Notion, not an entity. My Daily Log, Meetings, and Tasks all hold dates and don't connect without formula hacks. It’s odd that you don’t have this yet, even after the Notion Calendar was released.

@amix3k You guys are on fire recently! one small thing that would make Todoist 10x more useful for me: when I select a parent project, I'd expect it to show tasks from all its sub-projects by default.

Imagine sharing any file or image with Todoist and having tasks automatically extracted from it. We are still cooking, but you can already try an early version on the web, iOS, and Android. Keep an eye on this space ✨

@m7abib @AnthropicAI Yeah, but paying 170/month extra for being able to continue my morning chat is a tad much. I already have ChatGPT Pro too. AI stuff alltogether is starting to look like rent :D

Claude by @AnthropicAI is amazing to casually chat with, but the request limits are harsh for paid accounts. I barely use it generally, but in one morning I instantly get rate-limited. I’d love a way to opt to continue, even if its paying a small fee.

AI agents built into cloud apps will always be sub-par compared to state of the art agents that you can use with Obsidian. This is because your Obsidian data is in your control, in plain text formats that are ideal for LLMs to process. You can choose to run any of the best-in-class agents and AI tools: Claude, Gemini, OpenAI Codex, etc. You also have the choice to run local models and privacy-preserving options. Or you can use none of these and enjoy not seeing sparkly AI buttons everywhere. Remember that cloud-based note-taking apps are not end-to-end encrypted. This is inherently less secure, open to breaches, and allows companies to make your private thoughts part of their training set. Obsidian is not working on adding agents because we don't have to. We'll let the AI labs focus on that. We're 4 developers and our focus is on making great editing tools for plain text Markdown files that are always in your control.
