A 15-year-old killed 5 people and left at least 2 injured in North Carolina yesterday. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this act of violence. Sadly, this is no surprise in a country with more guns than people. Americans have endured 532 mass shootings in 2022 - SO FAR.

I quit my job today. Feels good.

The shooting in Highland Park wasn't the only mass shooting on the 4th of July – there were 11 around the country. Across the holiday weekend (July 1st through the 4th) there were 21 mass shootings that left at least 20 people dead and 120 injured.
