i hate complaining like this, but it seems like it's the only way to get something to happen.
vercel as a service is absolutely awesome. the CS experience as an Enterprise customer, on the other hand, is ALWAYS extremely frustrating.
i've been a strong advocate for @vercel internally (and still am), but it feels really one-sided, and when issues happens, or when we need something... i'm the one left holding the bag.

sometimes i think about whether getting an Enterprise contract with @vercel was the right call or not, considering how much it costs us then i remember we’ve had 0 (ZE-RO) infrastructure issues since then. and we keep getting new features. and we can do and scale how we want.

@mcsdev @NagarajMoger22 @vercel Thanks for the feedback I have fixed the error. I was using cloud flare DNS for the setup which caused the error. So I had to change the nameserver to vercel nameserver and use the registrar DNS instead. My portfolio is loading fine now augustinestack.com

@T_Zahil Ps: they also have rate limiter feature in firewall, and blog post says you can get beta access to it via customer support - I’ve tried several times and they don’t even understand what I was asking about 🤷♂️

Vercel wants to charge me $523 because of the DDoS attack I suffered 11 days ago.
On one hand, I had a lot of help from their CTO to optimize Uneed and a nice message from their CEO saying they're working on this kind of issue.
On the other hand, I still don't have any answer from their support about this bill.
Here's my takeaway:
🟢 Vercel has an amazing DX and helped me launch many projects without worrying about hosting.
🟠 They recently released their new firewall, but it doesn't activate automatically (RIP your wallet if you're not in front of the computer), and... I didn't understand how it worked 😅
🔴 Taking 10+ days to respond to a client with a 2500% increase in their bill is unreasonable.
🔴 The fact that it's possible to receive such a high bill in a matter of hours due to an attack on a single IP address is extremely concerning. It's impossible for me to stay with them knowing that.
🔴 Oh and I almost forgot: since this afternoon, all my deployments stopped working. No logs, no errors, but all deployments are empty. Nothing changed in my code, I even tried to revert changes from days ago. I had to do an emergency rollback and deploy anything new in production.
I've started migrating my projects to @coolifyio: it's a lot of work, and the DX won't be the same, but at least I'll be safe from problems like this.

I was just charged double $ by @vercel
But nothing has changed 🤔
We've had 2 team members on Pro plan since April.
It's always been $20 per month.
Why is it now $40?
