I don’t understand this point at all. They have Remco, Roglic, van Gils, Vlasov, Vermeersch, Tratnik, Thornley, Martinez, FFB, Etxeberria, Boichis and, next season, the U19 and U23 world champion Lorenzo Finn. That’s more than enough.

I have zero tech knowledge but is this safe? 🤔 Me, I was scared to put 28mm tire on the front of my bike because it's not much space left LOL. What happens if a tiny rock gets in there, can't it catapult you? Or dirt rubbing?

Complex situation.
Main issue was likely processing childhood trauma in his mid twenties majorly damaged him mentally.
On top of that lost progression, lack of motivation when he’s not working at the very top anymore.
Also worth noting that he was getting goals and assists in a team which was banging the goals in under Poch. Hard to replicate that with a system which suits his skill set.

I’ve always wondered, with players like Dele, why they can’t get back to a decent level?
It’s it just mental? Or once you’re out of the game for so long is it just impossible to get back to that physical level?

Yeh this also the European model is doing this already and still sits second fiddle to the NBA despite much stronger basketball culture in many European countries.
Problem with Britain is we already love so many sports. Only country in the world which (regularly) sells out events for Football, Cricket, both Rugbys, F1, tennis, golf. Not to mention the likes of darts and snooker (not so much these days)

Seems unlikely. This decision was almost certainly taken for practical reasons (closing roads, police resources, cutting costs).
If it was taken because they thought it was better entertainment then yes I agree it could be a one off as they’ll see it’s much better to have a full weekend of racing. But I doubt it.
