Tweet fixado

my biggest flex from 2025 isn't the 4 apps i shipped or the 26 meetups i attended
it's that i finally killed the version of me that spent 3 hours perfecting a tweet/instagram reel/carousel before posting
2024 nikhil: creates something → make changes 8 times → overthinks → deletes → never posts
2025 nikhil: has thought → posts → moves on
the shift sounds small but it changed everything
because here's what nobody tells you about perfectionism:
it's not about quality. it's about fear.
fear of judgment. fear of being wrong. fear of looking stupid.
so you polish. and polish. and polish.
and while you're polishing, someone else is shipping.
i spent the first half of 2025 building in silence
shipped 2 apps to the app store. felt proud. waited for users.
crickets.
because i forgot the most important part: distribution.
you can't distribute what nobody knows exists.
and nobody knows it exists because you were too busy perfecting it to talk about it.
the second half hit different
started posting without overthinking. shared progress. showed failures. talked about what i was learning.
consistency > perfection became my mantra
not just for products. for everything.
tweets. youtube videos. meetup talks. workouts.
the pattern was everywhere: i was waiting to be "ready"
ready to post. ready to speak. ready to launch.
but ready never comes.
so i just started doing it scared.
posted my first youtube video in the last week of december. was it perfect? hell no.
but it's out there. and that's what matters.
2026 is about embracing the messy middle
build in public. ship ugly v1s. tweet without overthinking.
because the gap between thinkers and doers is just action.
and action beats perfection every single time.
if you're still polishing while others are shipping, this is your sign to just hit post.
