It’s truly a little sad if you have nothing more in your life than work. No family, friends, hobbies, activities, clubs etc. just a corporate slave

It’s the general societal understanding that time is something that can’t be recovered, and that spending your best years without personal time is a tragic loss. You can pay someone for their time, but we’d all rather not have to give it.

@bourscheid Yeah Elon is spending lots of time every day using sock puppets accounts to post random info about his family. His mother totally didn't just make a typo and omit the word (Dad's) from her post by accident.

Elon’s mom caught posting from the perspective of Elon’s dad. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to assume Elon is posting on Twitter as both his parents & was on the wrong alt. The cringe deepens daily with this one.

Americans are just trained to think that work is the most valuable thing a person can do. You should be grateful to capitalism for letting you spend your best years working 45 hour weeks.

I enjoy eating whole foods over a burger or pizza. I enjoy running and weight training over sitting on the couch. That's unexplainable to people who eat pizza on the couch. People like what work provides. Perhaps it's different in Europe because of Europe's lower compensation for work.

When was the last time you saw a street sweeper? I haven't seen one for years and don't the streets look like it. I would sooner see street sweeps returned to every high street than give a Billion pound to the EU.

My 18 year old has done her first postal vote without any prompt from me she told me she wanted to feel safe and have a future so she voted reform 5 votes for reform from our house and my parents
