@KirkdaleBooks A banger by the great Dorothy B Hughes (In a Lonely Place). You don't really have to start the book again, but (depending on the reader) you may have to completely revise your assumptions about what's going on

@wsjudd Ace & Tate, I go in store to try frames on but they have a good online store too. Frames look great and are relatively inexpensive.

👓 Bespectacled ones in the UK: do you buy your glasses online or in a store? Any recommendations? I fancy a change and want to try something nice (digital freeform lenses, fancier frames). Seems like my prescription is relatively stable and makes sense to invest!

I’ve got an absolutely cursed 800 words in me on how the yellow paint and the near total implosion of large-studio dev are conceivably both symptoms of the same problem (reckless overspend in search of quad-A fidelity that ultimately defeats itself) but I Will Not Write That
