Oh dear Lord! Anyone watching the great @CamillaTominey on @GBNEWS - talking to the hapless Labour MP Tom Hayes about the Starmer/Mandelson disgrace. How on earth is that man an MP - 🤷🏼‍♀️

Appalling behaviour from @TomHayesBmouth. Aggressive, arrogant, rude, entitled, evasive, deflecting, nasty. And he wonders why are politicians are despised and Labour are tanking? I would urge some self-reflection, but let's face it, that's very unlikely. x.com/GBNEWS/status/…

'Let's just reconstitute this before frankly, you really embarrass yourself.' @CamillaTominey clashes with Labour MP Tom Hayes who attempts to derail their interview by bringing up a story about Reform UK's Richard Tice, instead of responding to questions on Sir Keir Starmer.

A car crash interview. When asked about Keir Starmer and Peter Mandelson, Labour MP Tom Hayes kept deflecting to Richard Tice. Serious questions and he took the Starmer approach by not answering. Pathetic and childish. @CamillaTominey wasn’t having any of it.

Really?! You’re going for a second hit at this? No one is flogging sex toys in parliament @KemiBadenoch - stop being so reductive. Let’s take the shame out of sex, I have cross party support for my backbench debate. Stop tying to use ‘sex toys’ to shame.
Kemi Badenoch@KemiBadenoch

It’s bad enough Labour MPs are flogging sex toys in Parliament this week. But if Reeves isn’t funding our armed forces because 50% of them aren’t female, she is unfit for government. This is a new low. Labour have no idea how to protect us and know nothing about defence.

You won't hear a peep about this from Farage, Tice or Jenrick. Under the Tories, up to 400 hotels were being used to house asylum seekers. With Labour, there are now just 185, with 11 more hotels re-opening to the public, saving the taxpayer £65 million a year.
Alex Norris MP@AlexJJNorris

There were more than 400 asylum hotels under the previous government – that number has been more than halved, with 11 more closing this week. Labour is bringing the asylum system under control.

Every serious person knows the triple lock is impossible to sustain and setting us on course for a nearly £200bn a year bill. And yet any suggestion of reality to the P&O cruise brigade unleashed entitled fury. Someone needs to stand up to these retirement communists.

If, like me, you were born in 1956, you’ll receive almost £300,000 more in benefits than you’ll pay in taxes in your lifetime State Pensions make up a huge chunk of that Long term, we simply can’t afford to sustain the Triple Lock’s generosity Blog: desmondswaynemp.com/ds-blog/1956/?…

The Prime Minister will meet with President Macron of France to work together to re-open the Strait of Hormuz. Britain and France are Europe's leading military powers with greatest diplomatic reach. Leadership at this time is crucial. independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

The brutal, senseless murders of Bebe, Elsie and Alice marked one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. The report today is truly harrowing and profoundly disturbing. It sets out systematic failures that led to this terrible event. I’ve been overwhelmed by the bravery and determination of their families and while nothing will ever bring these three little girls back, I’m determined to make the fundamental changes needed to keep the public safe. I will do everything I can to honour the memory of Bebe, Elsie, and Alice.

@Irate_Jobbie As usual, it looked to be ordinary people who DON'T have any pension provision and who seem bitter about anyone who does. We worked for it. For 49 years in my wife's case.

I put up a post about how much the wife and I were being taxed on pensions and then got told how lucky we were to have such great incomes 1: They are not that great 2: They were occupational pensions that we had no choice but to join. 3: You missed the point about tax dodgers
