I was lucky enough to be able to move to Berlin for the summer. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to a normal live again, go out eating, dancing (with mask on) and enjoy the summer. My wife and I have postponed our return to the bay two times already...

Spoke to some colleagues in Berlin and Barcelona this week. Their lives are normal: restaurants, bars, shops, theaters, schools (with some restrictions) are all open. This is true in much of the world. I'm not sure that most Americans really understand this.

Entitled idiots that think they are better than the rest of the world. Thankfully our leadership is smarter, population has the same intelligence distribution as anywhere else. #uglygermans

As Germany is experiencing a strong increase of new #COVID19 cases, this is happening right now in Berlin. #b0108 A “Day of Freedom” with conspiracy theorists, anti-vaxxers & right-wing extremists. No one is wearing a mask.

Being an owner of the Green Bay Packers is essentially worthless. Yes, I'm serious. Time for a thread 👇

@ohhLAURENalise @jarredsumner @nikitabier I live in California, so Winter isn’t the biggest problem. Many buildings in Europe have basements, or people use a room in their house. Now, I am not opposed to using a dryer occasionally, I just don’t think just because one can afford one it should be used for a everything.

@nikitabier I don’t understand why countries that can afford a dryer don’t use them

@theSamParr You should try the @Weihenstephaner non-alcoholic hefeweizen - usually available at BevMo. It tastes great, looks fantastic (natural unfiltered color) and smells like beer should!

We wrote about non-alcoholic beer a year ago. We gave plans on how to create these businesses and where the growth is. I've been drinking Heineken 0.0 lately and am totally bought in. This is going to be a massive category. trends.co/articles/new-b…

@jimmylittle @jslu72 @brianklaas Correct! We would have fewer “reported” cases though. you can get tested without having symptoms. I can drive 30 minutes in 3 different directions and get tested for free. Are other countries doing this? What about antibody testing?

@pc4media 30 days of vacation are pretty common in Germany. It’s not that depend on experience or how long you have been at one company - very often it’s driven by unions.

It's amazing how much vacation policies differ between the US and Europe: EU: 1 Year of experience: 20 days 16 Years: 25 US: 1 year of service: 10 days 20 years : 20 In Europe, it's how many years you've worked too, not how long you've been at one company.

@moorehn Sorry, but never understood why you would waste energy for something some sun & fresh air can do much better.
