The league did everything they could to not let that happen. Cathy did things like not turn in paperwork on the offer. The state of CT was ready to jump in and help keep them.

The Sun were sold for $300M, per @alexaphilippou. 2026 will be their final season in Connecticut before relocating to Houston.
