@BrunoM_Jr Close. Very very close. Remember that it was a little slippery that night so I took my life in my hands.

Almost like @seasmar79 driving from Simsbury to Torrington for our first date.

@artsimse @aep_arts @artsintedu @ST3AMCo @HartfordFdn This is what we’re doing at Hartford Performs! It’s amazing to watch the lightbulbs!

@AnneKarolyi @TraceyOSh I think it’s great that you have an arts and culture critic when most other papers are cutting theirs. The last opera I sang didn’t even get reviewed.

Great news and more evidence of her talent: Congratulations to @TraceyOSh, first place arts & culture criticism, from the national Society for Features Journalism.

The Campership Fund has received our total number of camper applicants from @UnitedWayofGW: 331 kids, at an overall tuition cost of $146,132.
For all of them to attend, we need to have raised every penny. Can you help us send them all to camp this summer?

Nothing like listening to Cuban jazz, especially when it's live. Great job today by Harold López-Nussa, Ruy López-Nussa, Gregoire Maret and Luques Curtis. Thank you to the Music Series at South Church for the free show. musicseries.org

Arts education matters. These kids are learning music for music’s sake, emotional regulation, teamwork, leadership, empathy.

🎭 Meet the pupils of St Peter's CoE Primary School, who have started their own Opera company! With the help of @teesvalleymusic, these students are taking on Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute, as part of the Royal Opera House's national Create & Sing programme. #RoyalOperaHouse

Such a special moment for our family this morning. Thank you @JenniferBoysko for the kind introduction. It was an honor to be recognized, and Jack got a chance to show off some dance moves.

Elmwood Chubs didn’t see his shadow today so that means no drought in New England for six months. @DroughtCenter

@jonfavs @TheeNerdwriter I just really got going in grant writing for the arts! After being a performer, and finding something more “normal,” I certainly hope the human element counts.
English

Should we outsource writing to AI? Can ChatbotGPT ever replace my (former) profession?
Fantastic conversation with @TheeNerdwriter about how writing allows us to be fully human - to understand ourselves and the world around us.

Today my great grandmother, Lily Ebert, an Auschwitz survivor, turns 99!
“I never thought I would survive Auschwitz and have another birthday. At 99, I celebrate to show that the Nazis did not win!”

“They don't know what's going on in the budget unless they go to the budget town meetings,” Nader said. “You can't read about it. That's pretty severe.” Hey @RalphNader. You CAN read about ... in the Rep-Am. Here are some of @RA_KurtMoffett's Winsted "budget" related headlines:

@titonka It’s not part of the Christmas portion of the Messiah. But we do it anyway and still stand cause the accepted thought is that King George was so moved at the premier that he stood and the rest of the audience stood so as not to offend him. As a singer I’m already standing anyway!
