@mart_brooks Right yeah, been there. Next time you want to anything remotely like that get yourself an SDS drill and thank me later. Kind of like the difference between using a normal drill as an electric screwdriver vs. an impact driver.

@sihil With a battery powered mid-tier De Walt drill/driver combo. Okay it has an impact mode, but it's still pretty gutless against concrete.

@mart_brooks With or without an SDS? An SDS makes mincemeat of concrete block work in my experience.

Getting those panels up was an utter bastard of a job. Ended up blunting 2 masonary bits drilling 24 80mm holes for concrete rawl plugins. The fittings provided were useless and the panel fronts stand about 13mm from the wall.

Any update on your investigation into this @HMRCcustomers ?

@HMRCcustomers I have received several emails this morning saying: “You have requested a code you can enter on the Government Gateway screen to confirm your email address. Your confirmation code is:” This was definitely not me requesting this. Please advise on what I need to do?

Why is it, @sainsburys, that I'm never able to order wine in my online orders when it's a slot that should be able to, but only just. I think this might be some off by 1 error in your system somewhere? I have a hunch that I see this when we're on GMT (not BST) but might be wrong.

@sainsburys So if I order alcohol in a 10am slot (as allowed in the screenshot above) you might just not be able to deliver it if it happens to go through the till before 10am?

@sihil Sorry for the confusion however we wouldn't have any way of predicting exactly what time somethings going to go through the till. The slots later on in the day are more suitable for ordering alcohol as there would be no confusion on whether it was scanned before 10am. Hamdi

@sainsburys I have no visibility into your internal processes. Does an 11am order get scanned after 10am? What about 12pm? If I have a basket with wine in this is the slot availability… seems that this is ignorant of the rule about the time it goes through the till. Thoughts?

@sihil Hi Simon. If the alcohol goes through the till before 10am it is illegal however if you buy alcohol after 10am for it to be delivered later on in the day since it is scanned after 10am it can be delivered to you. I understand the frustration sorry about that. Thanks, Hamdi.

@sainsburys I do not understand what you are saying. Can I have alcohol delivered in my 10am-11am slot? Do I have control over when it goes through the till?

@sihil Thanks Simon. We are able to deliver alcohol after 10am but if it goes through the till before then, it won't be accepted for payment. Thanks, Karen

@sainsburys How do I know from my order slot what time it will be scanned / what order slots correspond to slots that will be scanned at a time that makes it legal? Regardless of the answers the needed fix is to change the message to reflect reality. When will this be done?

@sainsburys Interesting. The message clearly says you’re able to deliver alcohol after 10am. But you’re saying that’s not true as it depends on the scan time rather than the delivery time? That’s stupid but some follow up questions: at what time is to legal to put it through the checkout?
