@maz_jovanovich I learnt to slow breaths down to 4-6 per minute and compared the experience of holding ice cubes while breathing slowly versus normal breathing. Long out breaths changed my perception of discomfort, gave me ‘mind over matter’ & improved my agency/autonomy. Helped my 17hr labour!

@Tacko77 @maz_jovanovich @PhysWiz Being a mum is a 24/7 job for life. Since becoming a mum the conditions of any paid job (aka, someone else is minding kids) are trivial comparatively! Easier to parent older kids, but I still just had three low/poor sleep nights on holidays with 2 kids w/ear infections. 💪😅😎
