2018 iPad Pro deserved a better final update. Leaving it on iPadOS 26 is brutal, not because it lacks new features, but because it’s incredibly buggy and slow compared to iPadOS 27. 2020 Model gets iPadOS 27 despite having the exact same chip. The only real difference is 2GB more RAM, but that’s a weak excuse since iPadOS 27 supports other older devices with even less memory. There is absolutely no technical limitation here. I know the 2018 model is old and had a great run, but leaving such a capable device stranded on a terrible, unoptimized version of software is just SAD.

@CaschysBlog Das selbe ist auch bei den iPads die angeblich gedropped wurden. Das Profil ist auswählbar nur der Download funktioniert nicht, gibt aber auf der DEV-Seite das Restore Image zum herunterladen.

Schräg, die Beta klappt auch auf der S7 usw. Wie schaut es bei euch aus?

@srank25 @Guardianpirat Bei watchOS gibt es normal generell keine Liste, da es ja keine .ipsw datei ist bzw ist.

Aber, so ganz verstanden habe ich diese #WWDC26 diesmal nicht. Das war irgendwie ein komplettes durcheinander, keine getrennten vorstellungen, nichts. Einfach ein irrgarten 🫣 #Apple

@SchallerDomenic @Guardianpirat Die Geräte sind nur mit dem neuen Siri Kompatibel, alle angeblich gedroppten Geräte sind weiterhin mit der 27er Version kompatibel auch z.b. iPad Pro 11“ 1. Gen. Das einzige ist halt nur das sie das alte Siri drauf haben
