I have baseball practice today, and it's a bit rainy. I'm thinking about ending the practice by finding a puddle in the infield and having everyone practice sliding into it. If i was 8-9-10, I couldn't imagine anything better.

@davidfowl You’re using Opus, and I’m assuming Claude Code? Do you think you could do the same thing with GitHub Copilot?

Here's a prime example of slop that I cleaned up later:

The best place to experiment with crazy ideas is personal projects. I haven’t opened any IDE or editor coding tally. I’ve just been using agents for everything, from coding and to code review, to release management. I’ll occasionally use an other agent to help identity what slop to clean up. - I’ve been using the agent to help review pull requests, plan features, I even let it commit and push changes. - Giving it access to the gh cli means it can query issues, PRs for context planning and review. - I let it commit and push and sometimes it’s over eager. Often I’ll make it watch the workflow to make sure local tests and the ci. One time it, saw a ci failure, and iterated until it fixed it. - Opus is not AGI for software engineers. It’s amazing but still sloppy. That’s not a dig though, I’m still hella productive with it. - I’m raw dogging the CLI agent, I have no prompt files, no sub agents, no special techniques, just me my brain and the agent chatting about features. - I asked to agent to figure out why the tool had slowed down after a change it made. It ran the profiler, found the bottleneck and fixed it 🎉. It feels extremely chaotic and amazing at the same time 😅. This doesn’t scale for software teams though, this is individual productivity.

@jbfox23 @BLKMDL3 Not always that simple. E.g. overtaking a car before merging into the right lane rather than block the left lane because it can’t speed up to hit the gap. 10 would be better than 5, though.

Those who have FSD v14.2- what are your thoughts on it so far?

Can someone at @Tesla fix the logic for the auto door opening on the Model X? I get out, grab something from the trunk, walk past the car with my hands full and the door pops open directly in my way. Needs to be smarter.
