Trans darts player Noa-Lynn van Leuven (biological male) has retired in an emotional video just weeks after the World Darts Federation introduced a new ban on transgender competitors in women’s events. The 29-year-old Dutch player, who rose rapidly through the women’s rankings, posted a tearful message announcing his retirement after the new eligibility rules were brought in. The ban prevents biological males from competing in women’s darts and comes ahead of the sport’s inclusion in the 2028 Olympics. Why not just compete in the men's event?

We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways. Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head: -Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione -Ginny was not Ginny -Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film -Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book -Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain) -Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup -Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts -Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that) -Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead -Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.

Is it just me or does anyone else think this is utterly ridiculous? There's a reason why people in terraced houses the length and breadth of this country don't feel confident to even leave a nice plant pot outside their front door. And for good reason. So how the hell can hundreds of thousands of these devices possibly be left unattended while charging vehicles? Look at it. It might as well have a big flashing neon sign above it saying "VANDALISM OPPORTUNITY ⬇️". And how the hell do you ensure you can actually park outside your own house? I know people who've lived in terraced houses for years and have never once been lucky enough to find a space outside their own front door. This is madness wrapped up in nonsense and topped off with lunacy.
