I will banter & wind up Scots all day, but i'll never hate them. We share this island, and loads of us have family connections across it. My brother married a Scottish woman and I love her and my nieces.

I treat it as purely banter, it’s what football is about. Nothing against Scotland as got a lot of mates and family that are jocks & go up to Hearts regularly. It’s banter at the end of the day, nothing more.

Even the Oxford English Dictionary acknowledges the term Brytish Iles comes from John Dee in 1577, who also coined the term British Empire.
