@pythonrocksnake Millennial homeownership rate is 55% & X is 73%.
Even Z is already up to 26%

@pythonrocksnake As they are the biggest demographic doesn't that make sense in a democracy?

@pythonrocksnake Boomers and everyone else now and into the future. This stupid line of attack on “boomers” from big government enthusiasts is being used bc they think their political opponents are simpletons and easily manipulated
English

@pythonrocksnake Don't be so dramatic. The Greatest and Silent generations bitched about property taxes for years. It was so big in the 80s, PA had a tax overhaul referendum in 1989 to placate them. (It failed massively.)

@pythonrocksnake Property tax ensures “homeowners” remain renters in perpetuity. Nothing to do with the boomers.

English

@pythonrocksnake Covid wasn’t the boomer remover it was billed as…
English

@pythonrocksnake Similar complaints about Obamacare. They hated it until they started rolling on to Medicare
English

@pythonrocksnake Nah, going after boomers to defend property taxes is where you lose me.

@pythonrocksnake Eliminating property taxes, and the mindset that local governments own what you have rightfully purchased, is an objectively good thing regardless of how you feel about your parents.
English

@pythonrocksnake Thing is, many places already have discounted property tax for seniors. Maybe try retiring to a different county or state?
